Rampe's Homepage
I like seeing new places and different cultures. There's so much to see, and so little money to spend :-)
Before my 18th birthday I saw Greece (Rhodos) two times, circled middle Europe (Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Lichtenstein), Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway).
There's nothing much to say about these countries, since I was indeed young and didn't get any photos to refresh my memory.
Recently we've visited Nerja (Spain) for several times and Curacao (Netherlands Antilles) on our honeymoon:
Nerja is on the seashore about 50 kilometres from Malaga to east. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja has 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. It's most fortunate that the little town has managed to avoid being 'found' by the large tourist masses.
Pictures are here.
Curaçao is one of the five islands of the Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean. It is located 40 miles off the coast of Venezuela, 42 miles east of Aruba, and 30 miles west of Bonaire. Curaçao is the largest of the five islands and the government of the Netherlands Antilles is located in the capital, Willemstad. The island is about 62 km long and 14 km wide (4 km at its narrowest point in the middle of the island). About 150.000 people live on the island. The local language is Papiamentu (or Papiamento), altho several other languages are spoken as well. Curaçao is an island with many small and beautiful beaches surrounded by clear and refreshing water. White sand and turquoise blue water, everything we were looking on our honeymoon.
Pictures can be found here.
If you have any questions about these countries, feel free to e-mail me. I'll be more than happy to tell you more, perhaps give you some advice on what to do and what to see. Remember to check out the gallery for some photos :-)
